Latest Blog: 04/02/09- Snow and Ketchup at D-Weekend North!
That time of year had once again come when we found ourselves piling into the van on a chilly winter's morning to begin the long journey north to the wonders of Savio House for D-Weekend North. A whole year since we were last there, and clearly they'd missed us so much that we arrived to find the Barn newly decorated!!
Well, for a number of reasons our numbers were few, but that didn't stop the fun at D-Weekend! With the theme of "Where is your God?", we looked at where we find God in our lives and how we share his love with others. The obligatory and infamous Savio Surprise and trek up to White Nancy (where we were greeted by the first of many snow flakes) were much enjoyed by all, and we can't wait to be back together in the summer for more fun and laughter.
