AFTER booking, you will be sent a confirmation letter with all the details you need to know. But things you might like to know in advance, the weekend starts with dinner on Friday evening, and ends after lunch on Sunday. Transport is not provided, so you need to make your own way to and from SENT.
| D-Weekends are for young people in years 7-9 at school. They are an opportunity to go deeper in faith and to meet other young people of the same age, looking for the same thing. There'll be fun, drama, music, friends, workshops, small groups, prayer, good food & loads more. So what are you waiting for? | ![]() |
"The D-Weekend is the best thing ever!"
Helene from D-Weekend North
"My best D-Weekend
moment is when we all went onto the football pitch and
played games with all the leaders joining in too. I chose
this because you get to see people's hidden talents and see
a totally different side to people."
Matthew from
D-Weekend North
"The team working
together felt closely knit and I could see that the young
people were forming solid friendships as well as soaking up
all that God could give them. My lasting memory is of a
time of prayer in the chapel, we had tried to do some
praise and worship but for whatever reason it didn't work
so we stuck on a CD and praised God. This was then followed
by quiet prayer and the peace that was achieved was second
to none- everyone was pouring out their hearts to God and
waiting for him to fill that gap... I'm not sure how long
this lasted but it felt like hours."
